My turn to host this coming Friday. Our standard night is to try to play 2 turbo tourneys. $35 buy in with a $5 KO chip. When people get knocked out they play cash. Here are the parameters:

We start at 7:30 and typically end by 2:30. The first game ends at around 11:30 and some leave and we play the 2nd game.

First game always has 15 min blinds with 10K starting stack with below blind levels. First game typically has around 20-25 players to start. 2nd game might have 15-18. In the 2nd game depending on when we start and how many, we may take time down the time between blind levels to 10-12.

We have the option to do a major where the buy in will be increased and time between blind levels is increased to 20 mins -- accompanied with an increase in the starting stack. We usually scrap the 2nd game on major nights and have a bigger cash game as people go out.
