Wonder what these will be?

-Sam sells the sword he stole from pops and relocates himself, Gilly and Littlebastard to Oldtown. He gets his maester's degree and immediately dumps Gilly for an upgrade now that he's making more money and has a proper career.

-Arya flees Bravos and settles in a suburb of Phoenix, where she gets a job as a wisecracking waitress working for Hot Pie's Diner. Her illegitimate son "Phillip" is introduced (some sorry sonofabitch knocked her up, we never meet him but she works in at least one joke at his expense per week). She cracks jokes and waits tables and raises her son the best she can. "Phillip" invariably turns to drugs and an intervention takes place, at the diner.

-Bronn and the Cute Sand Snake move to Chicago and open a private detective agency, taking on cases no one else will touch and never accepting money from people who can't afford to pay for their services, love will pay the rent. Theme song sung by Bronn himself.

-Littlefinger, having no more friends in Westeros, decides to head for Hollywood where he invents rock and roll music and starts a record label. After 5 seasons he is killed by a group of artists from whom he has stolen millions in royalties.

-Edmure, driven mad by his time in captivity at the Twins, winds up in a mental hospital where he causes lots of trouble while inadvertently demonstrating to his fellow asylum-mates that life is still worth living if they'll just stop being crazy and live it. His show ends after 4 seasons, at the end of which he nearly chokes one of the nurses to death and is lobotomized for his efforts. Ed's best bud Wun Wun decides he's had enough of the asylum and uproots a sink in the lavatory, uses it to break a window and escapes. Credits roll.

imo one of the best scenes in the series is him trying to hit the funeral boat with a flaming arrow and failing miserably before Blackfish finally says OMGZ YOU SUCK AT EVERYTHING GIVE ME THAT and does it for him

might be spinoffs of the "prequels" he's released

Three novellas have been published – The Hedge Knight (1998), The Sworn Sword (2003) and The Mystery Knight (2010) – and Martin has stated his intention to continue the series. A collection of the existing three novellas, with illustrations by Gary Gianni, was published as A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms on October 6, 2015.
google em if you want more info, theyve been received

Yeah I thought that may be a possibility too and also Bran has been living off acorns and been a cripple for a while so most likely wouldn't weigh a whole lot so I can believe he may have physically been able to lift Bran with 1 hand.

What I meant was how Bran was lay down on the floor, Ben was on a horse and without getting out of the saddle he was just able to reach down and grab him. It shouldn't be possible unless they also gave him stretchy arms too.

It's just a small detail but along with the other stuff previously mentioned it just made the scene suck for me.

It is occasionally difficult, but there's just no reason for the show to do this stuff. They could tell the same story with the details right....or at least a bit closer to reality.

I can't believe no one has brought it up yet. Pumped for the return of needle!

The 20 guys at the front of the Dothraki army may have enjoyed Dany's stupid speech, but the 100,000 people behind them were probably like "wtf did we stop"

Needle isn't made of valyrian steel, is it?

I think it was given to her by Ned so it might be. Can't remember.

It was given to her by Jon - we see him having it forged. It's not Valyrian Steel.

But most people on tv are there because they're unnaturally easy to look at. Gilly is not "plain or unremarkable." Have you ever been to the DMV? Spoiler:
amazing top level lollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllls.

Just one nit to pick though: if these people are that rare then how are "innumerable gillys" on tinder to left swipe?

High Sparrow: "There will not be a walk of atonement"

Viewers: "Goddamit..."

Everything about the high sparrow plot was disappointing

I just want to call this while I can: there will be no trial by combat. We're about to find out that the faith doesn't sanction trials by combat. Ultimately Cersei will be executed for the death of Robert Baratheon and other crimes, and Tommen will let it happen.

No way Cersei dies before Tommen after that prophecy in the woods tho, right?

Never realised what a bad actress khaleesi is until recently. Seems she got lazy or was always bad and i missed it. Walder Frey 10 times the actor which says a lot when Jon and her are the 2 main characters in the story.

Show still very good but just feels like we lost so many strong characters from seasons 2-4(The Hound/Tywin/Joffrey) the quality episode on episode has slowly gone down relying on 2 or 3 amazing episodes like last year and the rest being meh.

Does seem to be building up nicely this season khaleesi has a legit way to get to westeros and **** **** up which is what we are all waiting for.

Yup on the acting. Jon and Dany are two of the weakest actors on the show, which saddens me a bit since they are such important characters with so much screen time.

Man some peoples predictions are so good. I've read dudes talking about arya botching the test and retrieving needle, about a second red priestess showing up eventually and benjin rescuing bran. All that **** happened and didn't even come to a surprise as those posts usually sounded pretty solid.

I'm not saying dudes know what's gonna happen, but god damn why you guys gotta be so right on everything.

I'd give you 1:2 odds that we see one of these characters again. 3:1 that we see two of them. I'll let you figure out who the third is that is ~always dead.

It's really not that impressive. Chances are the guys you see make these predictions are the trolls who scour every forum and reddit thread on the subject where REAL GoT nerds have analyzed every line from the books to predict where GGRM was going with things.

I didn't read the books, but from what I read from reddit if you follow the books even with the slightest interest the Benji and Needle reveals were seen from a mile away. Not sure about the Red Priestess though
06-02-2016 , 11:53 AM
Sounds fair. I love this show and discussing it but damn dudes be thirsty for some online reps to bring some bs from the books into here.

Also judging by brand latest flashbacks the dudes predicting the mad kings 'burn them all' being deeper than just him wanting to kill everyone. Seems likely bran is gonna influence his craziness.

Throw me in the 'not impressed' camp from the last episode. It did a great job of setting up future episodes. Me personally when gilly and same show up on screen I'm counting the seconds before the scene swaps. Dudes gonna play. A huge part in the future episodes but god damn he's painful to watch.

I actually think Kit's gotten a lot better as the show has gone on. Less sure about Emilia Clarke but it's not like the writers give her a ton to do acting-wise anyways. Not many of her scenes need subtlety
