I probably wouldn't do that but I'd definitely put his name, email address, AIM/Skype, Facebook etc. in this thread just in case he solicits stakes from anyone else.

why wouldn't you send a letter to his parents? Maybe they will convince him to return it and if not at least he has to deal with the embarrassment of his parents knowing what he did.

Yeah actually its not a bad idea especially considering how big of a dick he is. Putting that conversation in the letter would be cool too.

Im an idiot for not searching beforehand. There are negative feedback posts in other places on 2+2, but not ITT. Garfunkel69 on both Stars and FTP is a scammer. It didn't have anything to do with the marketplace forum, but I figured it cant hurt to post it here.

stake this guy for 50nl when I got this message a couple of days after the stake started

it went bad, i was playing for 2 hours or running bad, my pro friend wanted to help me out so he was coaching me on mikogo then he started playing for me it was late like 1 am i passed out and he kept playing for the next 6 hours trying to win, and dropped 700, really sorry man

so basically he let someone else play on his account who not only donked off a load of money at 50nl (the HH's almost look like dumping although they are to different accounts) and also played some 400nl just to top things off.

Then just blew everything off saying, its staking, you take 100% of any loss. Guy has no morals or responsibility.

Guys wherever possible please put a link to the 2p2 member page of the accused -- makes it much easier for me to ban people!

i bought 4 ps3 games for $140 from ijack and they never arrived. no tracking, ignored pms and didn't even update me on when he shipped the items until I had to pm him twice about it.

I have cleared this debt and honestly I am sorry for what happened. If I knew then what I know now about staking I would have never allowed this to happen.

A little advice to anyone who is thinking about rolling a stake... You should def think twice, not only is theft wrong and illegal but you are giving up so much future ev its ridiculous. Being able to play backed is a tremendous advantage that should not be pissed away for a quick buck or chance to degen it up above ur normal limits. A good rep is a key to so many opportunities, scaring it over a couple thousand dollars or even pennies is just ******ed. Take it from a guy with experience, its not even close to worth it.

Just wanted to make investors aware of an poster that claims to have made over 100k in live/online tournaments in the past two years. I want to make it clear that he has NOT scammed ANYONE. He has done nothing wrong besides post about how valuable his shares when in fact they may not be. Here is one sample:

The fact that he completely bricked this 4k package is one thing, but investors were upset with updates and the fact that proof was not provided that tournaments were actually played:

Just wanted to bring all of this to the attention of the community. Once again, I want to make it CLEAR that he has NOT scammed anyone. I just feel it is a sketchy investment.

The package you linked was for a different player ( Damo Suzuki), though super00tilt gave a reference for the guy.

The Venetian missing update thing was cleared already und you weren't a backer in that and non of his backers inclucing myself has posted here because everything cleared, so why bring this up especially as he is updating his packages fine now.

And the rest: they are discussing hands so you think he is a bad player? then don't buy but if everyone would post about players here who he thinks they don't play good, then this would be full of feedbacks about playing abilities and useless to warn the others about scammers. I don't think that is the way this thread should be used.

he aproached me and some others via pm to ask for stakings as he is under 6 months.
I staked him 50% for some schedules and he showed some profit and send it without problems. the last time he approached me was on 7/22 and i send him $18.65 for 50% mattydacobra took the other 50%.
Then he claimed he had to work and would run the schedule on 07/23.
I didn't get a pm from him but opr showed that he played so i sent pm out but did not get any answer. When telling him i would post here he just sent a pm on 07/31 that he got a job in alaska and is leaving. after that i tried to contact him many times and got finally a pm om 08/10 stating i should calm down he just did not have the time to send money back and will be home in 3 weeks.

So as he is aproaching people via pm i just wanted to warn that there could be a problem arising and you should not send him any money.

I can confirm this. I have not heard from him since his last stake. He was very nice and diligent for a little while, but has appeared to flake. If he gets his act together he may redeem himself, but do not stake him in the meantime, and do not stake him for more than the lowest limits (he was doing $2-$5 mtts).

regarding davyT12 i staked him and he won pretty big right away, then however he did not ship my $ back and started playing high stakes and lost it all.

After a long period of time, he did eventaully pay me back my original stake, so I think he does have good intent and is very nice he just has a gambling problem that gets the best of him.

I mean he owes the profit SE, I'd consider him to still have a debt to you (and others mentioned) and shouldn't be staked until it's paid.
