Ok, so everyone at the table has more than 10k, hero has 5,000 in chips because previous hand tried to bluff someone's K K off of a A 2 J 4 5 board and didn't work.

Blinds are at 50/75 next hand going to 50/100. A new guy just got to the table, and per WSOP rules he can post 1 BB and be in the hand (doesn't have to wait for his BB). He is to the left of the hero.

UTG limps, UTG+1 folds, Hero is initially confused about the 1 BB to his left, dealer explains new rule, Hero raises to 350 with K K, MP2 calls, BTN calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls.

Pot is 2100 hero has 4650 behind.

Flop (2100)
9 7 5

SB checks, BB fires 600, UTG folds, Hero ?

Call? So what if someone minraises behind? Or shoves or something? What if 2 more people call?

Do we put any more money on a non-K turn?

Really not a nice spot but you're obviously never folding, and flatting just seems awful given you've still got 3 more people to act after you flat the bet. I don't understand how people are advocating flatting this bet? Leaving us with 4k behind and 3300 in the pot on the turn and that's only IF no-one else calls or ships behind.

I'm really not a fan of making bets to 'protect hands', I think that theory went out of the window when Hellmuth lost his acne. However in this spot, your hand is still really strong, but SO vulnerable and there are potentially 4 other players that are going to call and see a turn. There's a very good chance you have the best hand now, you have a great stack size for a shove, and if you flat there's a very good chance you may not have the best hand on the turn.

If someone flopped a set then GG.

SB played the 86 so ya drawing dead.

I was wondering if there's any way I can get out of this one or should I chalk it up to a cooler. Maybe if I had a 10k stack I could ...

I like this line of thought very much.

Obviously not drawing dead after flop....but very thin. You didn't specify the 86 suit(s) so I stuck in 8h-6h. With that Kh-Ks is 92.22 to 7.77 dog. I have lost more hands than I care to remember when that size fave.

I like jamming too. It would be horrible to flat giving him free cards make him get it in behind.
