It's funny because I haven't seen that FT since BF, but at the time that was thought to be a well stacked FT with some top pros. Then you watch it in 2016 and you see money getting lit on fire. Cringe after cringe.

The thing I take away is that someday someone will be looking at the upcoming SCOOP Main Event FT and think "holy **** people were bad in 2016." Pretty much any one of us posting in this thread could be Top MTT reg (In 2020), it's just a matter of who has the most WIM.

The 3b sizings and selection really is shocking, considering its the biggest FT filled with top players of the time

i recall those 3b sizings to be really standard for the time to exploit the fact that people did not call 3 bets much - instead selecting 4b jam and fold options - as you can see by the money lit on fire to start the tournament.

I remember a bunch of very well regarded players telling me that 5.5bb 3bet was way too much that it should be under 5bb.

you know how poker works. There are 5 guys who create new rules (sizing, frequencies, etc) and then they explain they horses how to exploit the field playing with the new rules. when everybody adapts, they create new rules...
