$3/hr whilst 2 tabling would be pretty respectable.

Figuring this out is not difficult at all. You just need a few pieces of information.

Expected ROI% - You can look at the FAQ to see a list, or look at the Sharkscope leaderboards and see what the best are doing at a certain level.

Games per hour - According to the Pokerstars VIP Calculator, 6-Max turbo's should get 4 games in per hour per table on average. Without doing too much research i've found that it's about half that. Anyway we'll say its 4 games per hour per table for the sake of argument.

Level or stake - What buy-in are you playing?

It all breaks down like this....
The ROI% can also be looked at as cents per dollar of buy-in. Say you have a 7% ROI at the $60 level. On average you will profit $4.20 per tourney. The math is simply .07x60=4.2

Now take that number and multiply it by the number of games per hour. For example, you are 5 tabling 6-Max turbos. 5 tables x 4 per hour = 20

20 games x $4.20 = $84 per hour

Like I said 4 per hour might be a big stretch, but you get the idea. You can do this for any Buy-In you are planning on playing. You must also assume a slightly lower ROI if you are indeed multitabling. Being able to do the math will always answer your "what if" questions regarding how much can you make.

I think this thing is grossly overstated. I average approx 40 mins per set (I play in sets), so it makes the calculation fairly easy. I just multiply the number of tables in my set by 1.5 to get my hourly table rate. You can then multiply that by ROI to work it out.

So if I play sets of 10 of $16s, and have an ROI of 10%, my hourly is approx 15x10%x$16 = $24 per hour. Same at $27s would increase to approx $40 per hour.

When I experimented with continuous, I find the multiplication factor somewhere between 2.1 and 2.2 (altho that's over a small sample).

So to summarise, from my experience.

Playing sets, hourly = 1.5 x BI x expected ROI
Playing continuos, hourly = 2.1 x BI x expected ROI

12 tabling 27s at an 8% ROI, assuming I take a 20 min break once my sets are done (lol) is about $28 an hour. So more like $30-35 since my sets don't take a full hour.

Whoops - left out important part of calc:

Playing sets, hourly = 1.5 x no. of tables x BI x expected ROI
Playing continuous, hourly = 2.1 x no. of tables x BI x expected ROI
