UTG+1: 4,818.00
Hero (MP): 4,334.00

SB posts SB 50.00, BB posts BB 100.00

Pre Flop: (150.00) Hero has A T

UTG raises to 258.00, fold, Hero calls 258.00, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold

Flop: (666.00, 2 players) 5 T 3
UTG bets 1,344.00 and is all-in, Hero calls 1,344.00

Turn: (3354.00, 2 players) 9

River: (3354.00, 2 players) 3

UTG shows 3 2 (Three of a Kind, Threes) (PreFlop 38%, Flop 20%, Turn 11%)
Hero shows A T (Two Pair, Tens and Threes) (PreFlop 62%, Flop 80%, Turn 89%)
UTG wins 3,354.00

My issue with this hand I played is with the pre flop playing the UTG position has a range of literally play any hand.

This hand is after the rebuy break so he tightened a little but was going in hard on every hand. I don't like A-10 but felt I was probably ahead against him. (he would all in pre with any face card)

Should I of raised pre/waited for a better spot/or was the call ok? his all in post flop I was always going to call as I was 80% certain I was ahead then and it was a bluff.

I'm a beginner and would love some advice on how to play with these players who live by the seat of their pants.

thanks

Del

Fold or raise pre. With your reads raise pre is fine as you are probably ahead of his range. Vs. a standard UTG player this is a snap fold pre and don't even think about it.

As played you did fine and got unlucky.
