888 Poker - $5.50+$0.50|200/400 Ante 40 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BTN): 7,617
SB: 43,829 (VPIP: 45.16, PFR: 43.33, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 33)
BB: 4,473 (VPIP: 27.56, PFR: 14.38, 3Bet Preflop: 8.47, Hands: 157)
CO: 7,536 (VPIP: 37.50, PFR: 10.71, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 32)

4 players post ante of 40, SB posts SB 200, BB posts BB 400

Pre Flop: (pot: 760) Hero has 4 A

fold, [color=red]Hero?

Down to the final 8 players, top 5 pay. Haven't seen the SB get "too" out of line, SB has been shoving a bit and getting no callers, and most notably shoved over an min raise open from the SB a few hands ago (it got through - he reshoved for 10 bigs).

What's the best course of action here for us - we've been open shoving quite a bit recently in order to get some chips, the only hand we've showdown recently was AKo a few orbits ago after we 4x raised pre OOP (vs CO limp) and got it in OTF vs the current cutoff player on a AJ2xdd flop He had A8dd and won).

What should our plan be here?

why should hero r/c vs BB? which percentage of hands do you think v will 3-bet shove for A5s to be a profitable call?

I hate to be the one calling an all in , but if your ahead of V's 3-bet shoving range then obv you have to call , even if it's marginal.

Yeah looking back I really regret not doing this. I raise folded which is just bad - should just be open folding if I'm going to raise fold vs the BB.

After checking out the old equilab apparently We're Breaking Even against [77+,ATs+,KTs+,ATo+,KJo+] given that we need 39% on a call and that range honestly may be a little bit tight given villain. Against [22+,A2s+,KTs+,QJs,A2o+,KJo+,QJo] we're 43% and against that range it looks like we've got to call with a lot lot lot of what we raise the button with.

If we aren't r/c the bb then we need to fold pf.
