54% and 33.9% when we get called by 99+ AQ+ and end up in a 3way allin

I get 54% wins against 54%. That is still about a 1.8xBB gain when you isolate and you are crushed by the overcalling range.

Did you pick a range that specifically did badly against 55?

Can you show me how you got a 1.4xBB profit from the overshove?

I don't think the shover's range is picked specifically to do bad against 55 since it includes stuff like 87o JTs T6s etc. I assigned the overcallers a range of 99+ AQ+, which should be about right. Do you want me to write down the calculations? The only thing I didn't bother calculating is that the final pot isn't 11880 when one of the blind calls but that should be a really small difference.

The shover is basically almost committed next hand so I don't see him being tighter than what I gave him very often.

edit : by removing a few hands and having him shove 22+,A2s+,K2s+,Q2s+,J7s+,T8s+,97s+,86s+,75s+,65s,A2 o+,K2o+,Q8o+,J8o+,T9o (47.81%) then we get 53.92% equity, which is the same.

I don't see how you get a 1.4xBB gain, because even if you win 54% of the time against the short stack, you gain maybe 1.6xBB if you isolate. However, you should lose at least an average of 1.1xBB from overcalls.

I don't see why the short stack should be pushing over 50% UTG. I think the 31% that Nash recommends is about correct.

OKAY I might have made a tiny little error, we get +33.98 chips by shoving so like 1/10thbb I still don't see any <5blind stack folding any of the above hands tho.

We are not worried by the shover, but more the people behind left to act.. ie: if we were in the bb and was the last to act pre this would be an easy call.

Ye we get 33.98 chips on average by isolating, that includes chances we get called by 99+AQ+

Based on your assumption that UTG is pushing 54%.
