I've always thought you were one of the better posters here despite all the hate that I never understood, glad you're doing a well.

yup, still random. and yeah it helped a lot, although obviously there's still a bunch of self-imposed social segregation.

had no idea you went to harvard, btw, have you never mentioned it before or did I just miss it?

btw billy, I think I may have known you went to harvard, but I don't remember. I dated a girl in Eliot '07 so I bet we've got some friends in common, but I'm Pfoho '09 (probably was north house when you were there todd)

What % of 2p2ers play as aggressively as they say they do in your opinion?

What's your most reliable live read?

Read the entire well. Ty for taking the time got alot of answers to questions that I had never really seen answered anywhere before.

I guess my question would be how would you rate you're overall happiness level w/you're current life compared to last year all factors considered?

Also overall comparitive stress levels as you left one highly stressful occupation for another?

great well, musta missed it in march.

if youre still anwering questions... how would you rate your marriage on a scale from 1-10? dont answer if its too personal, just seems like you traveling a ton and her traveling you two would rarely see each other and may grow apart, encourage cheating, etc. has poker and the traveling involved brought more stress/problems to your marriage?

hey todd
awesome well i remember reading some of it in march and just read the rest of it
since i will be playing my first liveevent in about a month (aussie millions) and have never really played live before (well a 200€ donkament and another one of those next week) i am looking for some advice on how to adjust my play from highstake online mtts to mayor live events.
1)should i play some cash at my local casino and some "small" stake live mtts to get used to playing in a casino with real chips and cards?

2)should i read any books/articles etc?

3) are liveplayers really as bad as everyone says they are?

4) some general advice you can give someone who is about to play his first livetourney

The average top poker player is probably significantly smarter, at least in terms of raw intelligence, than the average top lawyer.
I'm planning on going to law school and this statement is very motivating.

Yeah I'm sure we do. I'm bringing a couple of my former roommates to PCA by the way.

Having just finished the first semester of law school after playing professionally for 15 months, while I would definitely agree w/Todd's comment regarding the inherent intelligence of top poker players vs. top lawyers, I would say that in law school work ethic trumps intelligence level, at least in the first year. I'd say the top 40-50% of the people in law school have the intelligence necessary top finish at the top of the class, and the thing that separates students within that range is work ethic and study habits (this doesn't necessarily mean studying 12 hrs/day, it just means studying smart).

All of this is just a long way of saying that you should factor more than just your intelligence level or comprehension ability when weighing whether to go to law school.

Have you considered taking your citizenship elsewhere in the future to avoid paying 1/3 of your income in taxes? Say, France?
