when will schedule of extreme sattys be up?

$530 64 man HU sats for the 25k HU. FTP ran them and they were very popular.

I would like a turbo $100 rebuy that starts later at night just like for the WSOP ME. With 1 seat guaranteed.

This was my favorite. I can play it on a week night at like 10 pm and not spend all night playing it

wtf is up with these 2 hr gaps in the middle of the high traffic time period?

The satellite schedule has been weak at best....what else is new...

Again, entering a Badugi satellite that doesn't get cancelled would be nice.

A special Step 3 to the $320 events would be great...

Yes you can. You get it in ''tournament dollars'' which means you can only use it in other tournaments but not to cash out.

Actually, you would get it in $w, not $t, so you could only use it in other tournaments that accept $w, or you could sell your $w for about 97.5 cents on the dollar.

If these satellites were managed properly to begin with there would be no need for cancellations.

Could we please have a hyper-turbo day for WCOOP sats? You could hype it and everything...say about 2-5 days before the start? Same step structures too, and maybe advertise more heavily that FPPs can be used to buy in for those who just don't get it.

can you explain the logic behind it being "too early" for hyper-turbos? these will undoubtedly be popular, and thus you will get more rake than if you only run them right before the events. whats the downside?

Here are my two cents about the WCOOP extreme (and similar) satellites Bryan...

I believe that these satellites naturally get much more players due to the "overlay" created by Stars. These extra people thus play because they see a +EV-situation.

As it is today the structure in these tourneys is rather slow. For me personally, that time is often more important to me than the extra value Stars has added (even if I play poker at that time I may choose to rather play some other tables).

Let us for a second imagine the extreme scenario where these satellites were in fact lotteries! Thus all players' buy-ins and the added money from Stars would be redistributed to the participants as WCOOP-seats. If you are going to play in a $400-mtt, why on earth would you not pay $90 to get a 25 % chance to get a seat (remember a lottery does not require an effort to participate in)?---It's like playing roulette with the odds on your side!

Of course another role of satellites is to enable small-stakes-players to play bigger mtts. Although technically this would be achieved by lotteries, I believe that would spoil many people's dreams/visions. Also, playing a little bit of poker in these satellites would be fun!

The bottom line is that I believe making these satellites into (hyper)turbos would make them more popular. And let us remember that their task is to make as much money as possible go into the WCOOP-prize pools.

Needless to say, you could have some of them with a normal structure and some of them as hyperturbos.
