mid late stages of a $30

Winning Poker Network (Yatahay) - 350/700 NL - Holdem - 9 players

SB: 20,574 (VPIP: 33.77, PFR: 25.33, 3Bet Preflop: 13.33, Hands: 79)
BB: 54,094 (VPIP: 14.29, PFR: 11.11, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 28)

9 players post ante of 75, SB posts SB 350, BB posts BB 700

Pre Flop: (pot: 1,725) Hero has T A

fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 1,500, fold, SB calls 1,150, BB calls 800

Flop: (5,175, 3 players) T 9 7
SB checks, BB checks, [color=red]Hero

SB seemed fishy, he had x/minraised me BB-CO earlier on AKKf vs. my small cbet sizing. You can see his stats, he's a bit loose pre.
BB had joined table recently and had been very snug so far.

what's our plan here?

Betting looks good for like 40-60% top pair will wanna bet here he’ll c/r with a bunch of draws and stuff but whatever blocking the t makes it pretty tough to be behind otf
I’d just start off with a bet and go from there
X is ok but getting a little protections is kinda nice

At this SPR, I think we're mostly committed to this hand, even multi-way. I'd c-bet flop ~3K with the intention of setting up a roughly post-sized turn jam. If we get shoved on it'll suck but I don't think we can fold unless some wackiness ensues. (like SB c/r shoves and BB calls)

Yea didn’t look at spr. You could just like pot it or go 125%

betting 6k leaves you with like 7.5k into a 17k pot ott

Bet 3K and call a shove. Shove most turn cards if checked to. The pot is too big and there are too many draws to fold to a shove.

Checking the flop sucks, because there are so few cards that we are actually happy to see.

K,Q,J,9,8,7,6 any diamond.

You might also want to consider betting small to induce a c/r.

Turn: (14,175, 3 players) 3
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks

River: (14,175, 3 players) 2
SB checks, BB bets 5,600, fold, fold

BB wins 14,175

kind of an odd turn spot bc I feel like our hand is still mostly good here after nobody shoves flop, but it does seem a bit spewy to just rip it in ott into two players

fwiw I remember BB's call after SB was very quick, not sure what that means, probably medium strength

these were pretty much my thoughts exactly although I kind of prefer larger otf like 3750.

that was our friend erc007's initial reaction, and I kinda like that approach as well

i'm ripping it in on turn. sure, they can have a flush here, but also much besides and you may get a call from opponents that now put overs + fd in your range and get stubborn. would be way more annoyed about a KJT9876 turn tbh.

Feels close, I lean slightly towards checking turn/deciding river after both players call and the diamond draws get there. (especially when it's a low diamond, which means all of the Ax/broadway combos are in play)

Certainly think this is a turn shove if we're heads-up as we should get called by worse a decent amount.

As to flop bet size, I think anything between 3-5K is fine, the goal as noted is to set up a turn jam on safe cards.
