Live Event: $400+50 ($1 Million Guaranteed)
36 People remain (2,967 entries)

Hand takes place 20 minutes into Day 3 (Final day) at new table.

Blinds: 120k/240k Ante: 40k
Hero Stack 3.7m (15bb)

Hero Dealt J-J on the button

UTG (Stack 11m) opens for 600k (2.5x bb)
LJ (Stack: 12m) reraises to 1.8m (7.5x bb)
HJ shoves all in for 8m (33x bb)

Hero folds J-J
UTG folds
LJ folds

I ended up busting tournament 30 minutes later in a standard play. This was the only hand I was going back and forth with and was interested in other players perspectives.

You agree with folding J-J here?

With no reads at a new table, I can't imagine you being ahead unless the very specific instance of HJ reading the LJ 3b! as a steal attempt & him consequently shoving light with 99 or TT.

Since history is unknown, I'm assuming that the cold 4b! is JJ+, AK.

Some of your outs may be gone also, as earlier raisers could have a J in both of their ranges (AJ, KJs, QJs, JTs, T9s).

It is tempting though, to put him on AK, and be flipping for a 42.5 bb pot.

However, we still have 4 people behind, including the original 2 raisers, so I'm probably sigh-folding here.
