What leads the river for such a small amount? Against a good player I'd level myself into raising AI but I just don't see much value in that versus a random.

I'd probably just call in the spur of the moment, but what do people think of something goofy and exploitable like a min-raise / fold?

I'd make it 9,225. Looking at his line I'd expect he probly has air here alot and is trying to take it down now, after seeing you check behind turn.

Not sure how often you get called by worse, maybe Ad/Qd/Kd+10x is all you're really extracting more from.

I like your line tho wp.

When betting, think about why you are betting. What reason do we have for raising here? We have a medium strength hand on a dripping wet board. Be glad to the fact that they even put any in on the river and just call.

Raising here folds out anything worse than what we have and we are getting called or shoved on by anything that beats us. The villain described comes off as loose passive. You have showdown value so just call and move on to a better spot to get your money in.

Would villain check a T 100% of the time here?

i like to bet turn for value and to protect my hand versus this villian playing 27/6 obviously doesnt have a clue, calling way too many hands probably without any positional awareness. in my experience he probably just has a q high FD and backdoor SD or something, or some other random weak pair + 3rd nut draw, or something like QK with a d (i mean if we get raised its a pretty easy fold). On river I like to raise, i dont think its particularily thin versus this guy. plenty hands he can lead the river with either as a bluff (missed bogus draws) or as a blocker type bet with mid/top pair + busted bogus (or semi-strong to strong) draw, or even in his mind for value with top pair and missed FD (with something like KdTc), that he badly decides to call the river raise with, cause he doesnt understand that you checked the turn for pot control.

I make it like 10k, people will make absurd calls, but only if we give them opportunities.
