Hi all,

Small 1 day live MTT (one rebuy allowed); 48 players
First level: 25-50 no antes
8 handed
tubo format with 15m blinds, top heavy pay-out structure.

Start stack 6000.
Lot of aggression; already 1 all in bluff that got caught. So one chipleader (in CO), the rest around 6000.

Hero: button KQ
UTG limps
CO limp
Hero raises to 200
SB folds
BB folds
UTG & CO both call
Pot is: 675

Flop: 89K all
UTG & CO check
Hero bets 600
Both call --> pot is 2475
Turn: 2
Both check

The pre-flop action + flop action + my history with one of them narrows their ranges to draws and the occasionally made flush. (Top pair is possible but my kicker isnormally better or the same.)
I do block some straights.

What now?
Checking does not accomplish much imo. A spade only gives me second flush. Letting someone make a free straight does not sound that good either. And if they fire on a blank I do have to call (or even push because of format).

Betting is tricky as well if you look at my pot to stack ratio.
I have around 5000 left, pot is already 2500.

Anyway the format made me decide to charge the draws, I bet 2000. Perhaps too big.
UTG folds
CO pushes all in and has me covered

I call the extra 3000 i had left (pot odds and I can rebuy)

River:

P.S. no reads on both players.

Go bigger with the initial raise for starters. At that sizing, both players are getting very good odds to call, and with KQo you'd rather get it heads-up or take it down pre than play a multiway pot.

I'd bet a bit more like 60% on flop. Make it a little easier for them to call with a hand like T9 with a spade that you have dominated.

I would bet the turn again, but 2000 is a bit large. I'd go more like 1500. Once you get jammed on, I think we have to call getting better than 3:1, blocking flushes and still having live outs against non-nut flushes and sets.
