Boyle's 10$ rebuy and addon 10k guranteed. There are a few fish at this table but I hadnt seen the raiser get out of line.

Hero (9000) dealt AJ in co 1,
Villain in mp raises to 600 at 100/200 with 25 ante
HJ calls and Hero calls, blinds fold.
Flop is JT2 and Villain bets 1300, fold, hero calls.
Turn 3, Villain bets 2600, Hero calls
River 6 Villain checks, Hero?

I fold this turn a lot but I guess I was getting click happy. Anyways what should I do here on the river? Is this the easiest check back ever?

I guess you can shove for thin value since I think villain would shove QQ+

shoving river seems meh....I don't think you ever get called by worse
just get to sd

fwiw, I'd 1689/f pre so I don't get barreled off these textures

the check on the river can really only mean one of two things here: 1)checking to induce a bluff, which doesn't make sense when he's two barrelled already, or 2)he missed his nut flush draw and is now check giving up. Either way, betting could be extremely detrimental to your chip stack. Get to sd and take a note on the player for future information.

I guess I'd be asking "will villain think it's likely I have a draw here". If there's a really good chance villain has put us on a draw, and if villain thinks about best lines, villain should be checking QQ+ here, because we obviously missed and QQ+ only collects more chips if it induces a bluff. But if villain is on TAG auto-pilot, or if villain won't put us on a draw after we call the huge turn bet (so that's kind of the question - does villain think we're that fishy? ), then villain isn't checking sets or 2 pair or QQ+ to us very often, and our hand is usually best.

I just don't think villain has many worse hands that call a shove - I mean villain probably isn't calling with 9s, or AT, or missed draws - so we're basically hoping for a desperation call from KJ or QJ, hands that might not be played so optimistically pre to begin with. So it seems too thin to be worth the risk to me, unless we know villain is pretty hopeless and calls shoves stupidly wide.
