Villain is 48/27 after 40 hands and seems bad in general. He 4xes it every time he raises etc. I haven't yet 3-bet him. A few hands back, I raised PF, bet flop, he called, turn went check check, I checked river and he bluffed pot w/ a missed flush draw. I called w/ turned TP. So,

i call sometimes in spots like this vs donks as you see busted flush draws sometimes. The smallish bet on turn leads me to think that hes trying to build a pot with a draw or he binkjed the 9 and doesnt want you to fold... Either way i think the river is a very close spot because he could have some random Kx played in a very odd way..I think i call as he could still have alot of bluffs in his range.

Yea thing is, gotta ask yourself will he value shove a KQ or less. AK can still be in your range and theres are many people that are content to check back weak K's

If hes the type to check back weak K's, theres are a few 9's and many bluffs in his range and he only needs to be bluffing 25% to make this profitable. Seems like he could be at or above that number

id fold the turn. donks dont bet 2400 on the turn into 17k pot as a bluff. if he was bluffing hed bet his last 12.5k into 17k. if you dont want to fold the turn you can call and then fold the river cuz thats never a bluff.

Sorta what I figured. But calling 2.4K in a 17.5K pot might be worth the chance that he will check a worse hand behind on river, no? When I called the turn I knew I was gonna check/fold basically all but J-rivers.
