any other line to take?

I'd bet slightly more on the flop, <half pot won't scare many people, and you should ideally get it headsup or take it down ASAP. But otherwise, fine as played.

i think betting less or shoving are both better than 444 here, which seems the bluffyest bet size you could make

shove pre?

I think his range here is weighted pretty heavily to pocket pair hands and from my experience in these, means they aren't folding to that turn very much.

I'm not entirely sure what options to do here as none of the options seem all that great. I mean check/call would be an okay bluff catcher but that also seems pretty spewy. Check/fold also seems kinda weak as well.

Seems like the worst possible option imo. Shoving that much with no antes UTG just seems spewtastic. I prefer a fold UTG with that stack compared to a shove.

Raise 2.x - Fold - Shove imo

I think it's fine, though I would probably make it clear that I'm commiting myself on this flop.
700-800 letting them know I'm going all the way.

pretty gross idea considering what ppls calling ranges will be with us shoving ~18BBs UTG.

Also pretty gross cuz obv we are committign ourselves on 100% of turns, but villain doesn't know that, and might call flop and fold turn. If we bet 800 on the flop then he knows we are committing ourself, so if he calls flop he is never folding turn.

It is a great result if we bet 444 on flop and then villain folds 66 on the turn etc. (His range is pretty much 66-QQ in this spot imo, and a lot of them don't fold turn, but some do).

I think Ssync played it fine. nh sir.

Shoving pre would be fine if there were antes. The way you played it is fine.

if the villian was likley to bet flop (not sure if u know this or not) then i think the best option would be to check raise all or most of your chips on the flop where u've clearly committed to the hand should usually be a slight favourite/flip plus often enough take it down there. if he checks flop u get a free card obv u may end up folding the best hand sometimes. ur stack size and size of the pot make it a little awqward.
