Theory (kinda): Flatting range early in tourney? Theory (kinda): Flatting range early in tourney?

A spot just came up in an $11 where a tightish utg w/5200 opens to 280 (blinds 40/80). Folds to me on the button and 3,540 chips. Blinds are also tight players. What would be your range to call here?

Think im mainly only 3 betting in this spot, don't think we can profitably call with any PP to setmine v a 3.5x with around 40bb

So my flatting range would be something very tight like 88-JJ / KQs /AQs where we can still peel the turn on some flops
(not sure if this is optimal) but thats prolly my range to a tight UTG 3.5 x

With villain being nutted or close to it, we almost certainly have implied odds to setmine or play speculative hands, since he's gonna get it in post a lot more often. Flatting something like 22+,A8s,67s, AJo, T9o+, probably folding unsuited gappers like K9o.
3betting KK+.

^agree with Viral mostly, we want to flat all pocket pairs for sure. I would not flat A8s or T9+ though, I'd focus on just the SCs and pocket pairs personally.
