We've refunded all rake paid in the tournament. As for the prize pool, it was distributed among those who won, and the bounty pool was distributed among those who knocked other players out. Everyone was affected equally and no one's ability to advance in the tournament was materially harmed by the typo which set the bounties to non-progressive. I understand that many absolutely do not agree with our decision on this, and I'm sorry for that. The only other option really open to us when the error was discovered, 20 minutes into the tournament, would have been to cancel the tournament entirely. Again, I'm sorry for the error and the aggravation it's caused, particularly to those who didn't cash.

You make a very good point, and I agree that I likely should have included
some Package satellites to Event 10. Having said that, this type of tournament depends on massive player numbers, and I decided to keep the target value low in order to provide as many satellite winning opportunities as possible. Given the sheer number of satellites on offer, players can still win many T$ on their way to the Event. If we had the ability to issue rebuy tickets to a specific tournament in satellites to that tournament, I think I'd be more inclined to make even more Package satellites to rebuy targets than I've done in recent months to SCOOP 2015, WCOOP 2015, and now TCOOP 2016... though that would introduce complications, of course.
As for the average number of rebuys, we really don't know in this case, as we've never run a cash 4x-Turbo tournament. For satellites, the number is much lower than 10 buy-ins/player on average. In any case, as I mentioned this tournament type is new to TCOOP and we'll no doubt improve various things about it - including the satellite offering - in the future. Thank you very much for your feedback!
