Pre Flop: (t7200) Hero is MP1 with A K 3 folds, Hero raises to t7250, 3 folds, SB raises to t62744 all in, 1 fold, Hero ?????
I have been in similiar spots in recent tournys. Have only seen the Villain for 15 hands, this is his second action. First was out of BB, where there was no preflop raise, he caught a K on the river to pair his K5os.
Two questions:
1. Should I be throwing away in the face of a reraise, and possibly inviting 3-Bets more often because of my weak image?
2. Is this a move I should respect because it puts my tourny life on the line, but call if it leaves me with chips?
Spoiler:
Hero calls t27146 all in
Flop: (t74492) 4 3 7 (2 players - 2 are all in)
Turn: (t74492) 4 (2 players - 2 are all in)
River: (t74492) 2 (2 players - 2 are all in) Final Pot: t74492
Hero shows Ah Kc (a pair of Fours)
SB shows Qc Qs (two pair, Queens and Fours)
SB wins t74492
just shove pre instead of raising. so long as you raise the way you did, obviously call.
EDIT: i just read this:

Reason: lololololololololololololololololololol
Do you want a chance to win this tourney or do you just want to min cash?
if you want the chance to win, snap call the shove. If you want to min cash, fold and continue to fold until you get dealt AA... (and then lose with your AA and cry until you feel better).

After reading your reasons for editing, I realise that I should pull my head out of my nether oriffice and stop being results oriented. Thank you.
I don't give two sh*ts about villain right now. What I believe in this hand is that we have AK, less than 12BB, and should never be folding. Open shove the first time around and snippity snappity call the second time. What better can you hope for in the next few times around the table if you dare to fold?!
Dude the whole point of not shoving in the first place is so that you can happily snap-call this. Btw unless your regular MO has been to shove, I like opening regular to induce, especially if you have been at all active.
Never ever folding unless he flashes me AA. And even then I wouldn't believe him and call. Btw, you have to call 27k to win 48k, so you only have to be good 36% of the time. Even if he flipped up his QQ you should call, because you'll have 43% equity. This is like saying you are risking 1 dollar to win $1.78, and you only need to win 36% of the time to break even. Winning at a clip of 43% means your EV = .43*1.78 - .57*1 = 19.5c. So given the dollar example, you are forsaking 19.5c of money per wager of this type.
This is of course only when he has QQ. Expect hands you dominate as well: AQ-A8, for example.

Disabuse yourself of this notion now. Your "tournament life" isn't that valuable until the final table, and even then, situations like this one are exceptional, not standard.
