Just because you shoved Ax and someone woke up with a bigger ace doesn't necessarily mean it was a bad shove, obviously there are many other factors that go into it being a good or bad shove. And while we're in the topic, I actually don't agree with the term "bad shove" as it shows you're taking control over the hand/pot and also because it typically takes a better hand to call then it does to shove... therefore, you can often "get away with murder" as people are usually calling too tight.
