I often do massive MTT sessions in a single day(between 35-50), and I often miss some tournaments that I really want to play because of getting sidetracked. For example the 360 max tourneys start registering an hour before they start, so unless you register right away, you wont get in on time.

Is it a stupid suggestion to have them implement alarms in their software that you could manipulate? I guess there are timers and such you could find online, but it would be of utmost convenience to be able to do it all on Stars.

Thoughts?

stars should just let you reg for everytihng like on full tilt. i register for all my tournies in the sesh, then jus close the lobby, compared to stars, i have to check the lobby every hour or so.

I see where you are coming from, but the thing that happens on Tilt is sometimes people don't play their tourneys because they forget, which sometimes causes escalations which lead to refunds...whereas on stars, if you only allow registration 1 hour before for example, everyone who registers will assuredly play and there are 0 escalations because people didn't sit out.
Granted Tilt could easily refuse to refund your money, it's in their best interest to do so if they want to keep you playing on their site.

You can for 96.82% of tourneys.

I am a nit and normally plan my schedule our a day in advance. I then write down all the tourney numbers down and email stars support they will put you in the tourneys no prob.

The only tourneys they can't do it are like double shootouts and 360 max tourneys

how about you the CLIENT download something to remind you instead of stars implementing a random feature only droolers need anyways.

droolers??

lol...w/e you say bud.

How would implementing something like this be considered a "random feature?" It would have a purpose wouldn't it?

I don't know you, nor do I know how well you do for yourself but from what you posted you don't seem to have very good business sense. It's always in your best interest to satisfy your clients no matter what the demand is, as long as it's within your budget limitations...which in Stars' case is not a problem I imagine. I'm pretty sure implementing an alarm system wouldn't cost them millions and wouldn't take them 10 years to develop.

well I don't know if this has ever happened to you, but it has to me on tilt some time ago and I was refunded my buyin. they probably don't openly give you your money back, but if put up enough of a stink they will just give it to you.

and yes, more specifically Im referring to the 360 max tourneys.
