Are stt's dead? Are stt's dead?

Just been looking at a few peoples graphs - one in particular Braminc's. He is surely one of the best stt'ers in the world. But his sharkscope graph is now horribly break even from previously owning the games:

There are a few other graphs from people who seem to really know what they're talking about, but are sucky in terms of volume/profit.

Is there anyone on this forum who makes a living from stt's and can prove it? It's just disheartening to say the least to see a sicko like Braminc and a couple others not crushing like you'd assume they would. It would definitely be encouraging for me and others to see some sharkscope graphs where people are crushing $22's and higher.

The games are tougher, but they definitely aren't dead.

Also, the braminc graph doesn't take into account that he was playing super turbos and a ton of your profit in thsoes comes from rakeback

far from dead, definitely tougher than ever before but the top players are still making tons of money.

braminc definitely is one of the better sngers but that graph can be summed up by saying he started playing high stakes STs and was trying to do some volume prop that went horribly wrong. Playing games that are -EV, losing confidence, and running bad etc. If he wanted to get back into sngs he could still crush.

Just take a look at the leaderboards you'll see there is still money for top players.

No, they aren't dead. Like kvaughn said, RB is a huge part of any mid to high stakes players' income.

Mid stakes aren't the 150/hr games they used to be but it hasn't been like that since 2007. You can still make a decent hourly at mid levels especially with high volume & lots of RB. Obviously if you can reach SNE, you can still make a killing if you can handle the swings.
