Its time for the inaugural STTF HHU!!!


**WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT KLEATH!?**

To start the holiday season I wanted to revisit the community HU event idea, so after collaborating with my associate Vincent Chasestein(aka Mod virtuoso AMT) the STTF HHU was born.


**YA BUT WTF IS IT!??**

Three HU based events for people of STTF on pokerstars, a $20 tier and $200 tier single elimination bracket event, and also a special $50 pairs event.

**PAIRS EVENT WTF ARE YOU ON YOU CRAZY HAMBURGLAR!??**

I'll get to that later.

**WTF ARE THE RULES!??**

Single Elimination Event Rules:

-best 2 out of 3 games(3/5 finals)
-single elimination tournament style, no seeding
-play is in Deep No Blind Increase HU NL SNGs on Pokerstars
-you have 5 days to finish your match for that round
-if both players agree 1 or more games can be played at Deep No Blind Increase HU PLO SNGs instead, BOTH PLAYERS MUST AGREE BEFOREHAND THOUGH!!!!
-No one ghosting you or getting opponent reads from friends or any bs like that, I dont think anyones going to do it but I wanted to make sure its said anyway.


Pairs Event($50/per person) Rules:

-probably Single Elim but if we only get a few teams might do RR
-team event, 2 players per team
-play is in Deep No Blind Increase HU NL SNGs on Pokerstars
-if both players agree 1 or more games can be played at Deep No Blind Increase HU PLO SNGs instead, BOTH PLAYERS MUST AGREE BEFOREHAND THOUGH!!!!
-match is played simultaneously, ie Team 1 Player 1 plays Team 2 Player 1 and Team 2 player 2 and Team 1 Player 2 does the same. In event of a split each team chooses the person they want to play HU in a tiebreaker
-Intra Team chat is 100% legal and encouraged, share reads, timing tells, general strategy, etc
-OUTSIDE GHOSTING/SHENANIGANS STILL NOT ALLOWED

8man bracket - Winner Take All
16man bracket - 65/35
32man bracket - 55/25/10/10
above that will be dealt with when it comes to it

**WTF SHOULD I DO THIS!!?**

To improve your game and have some fun, theres alot of very good players in this forum that you wont get a ton of chances to play HU for this little of an investment. Plus some people just dont get enough variety and need to mix it up a bit, this is an invitation to do so. Oh and bragging rights obv.

I'm in/interested, but how much would it cost total for the lower bracket? Including buy-ins.

Cause I don't have any money on Pstars and I need to know how much I'll need to transfer from Full Tilt etc. Also, I need to find someone who's willing to transfer!

It's $20 to enter, then it's 5.75 per sng, worst you can do monetarily is 0-2, so looks like $31.50 would be the most you could lose.

Awesome post lol I'm definitely down for the $20 and maybe the $50, looking forward to this should be a lot of fun. Hopefully most of the players here have no clue how to play hu with more than 15bb.

I'd have time to do maybe one event. The $200 bracket is $200 to the prize pool and still 5.75 per match?

I'll probably just be in the 20$ Single Elimination. I deposited $100 on Pstars so I won't need to transfer any money anymore.

One cool aspect of pairs event I forgot to mention, if a tiebreaker is needed its 1v1, but the non playing teammate can still ghost, imo gives a very interesting dynamic when you could be playing different people on any given hand(or playing an amalgamation) and you have the same ability.

The buyins can be whatever people agree upon in there match, stars has from 5.75 to I think 5xx's, I just wanted to go the lowest ones by default for the lowest rake.
