Ok I know I made one of these threads around WCOOP time and here it is again. Stars timebank system is so bad it's unbelievable. They expect us to work with a 60 second timebank for an entire duration of a tournament? Also they have no separate timebank for disconnects, so if you disconnect early in a tourney with a blind in the pot, there goes your entire timebank. Stars support is generally very good, and I do not know why they can not make this change. I bring it up now because I emailed them about it today and this is the response I got:

Hello Alexander,

Thank you for contacting PokerStars.

At this time we have no facilities to reset an exhausted time bank
under any circumstances. It is just not something that our software
is capable of doing. Once a time bank is exhausted, it's gone for the
remainder of the event.

Good luck in the rest of your event, and thank you for choosing
PokerStars.

Regards,

FedericO.
PokerStars Support Team.

I'm no software expert, but I'm pretty sure they can add a replenishing timebank to their tourneys, like their cash games. An extra 20 seconds for every break isn't that big a deal. I know a lot of people agreed with me before and just say it again so they can hopefully change something.

This has been a major issue for quite a while now and I don't expect it to change anytime soon (even though it would be awesome for obvious reasons)

What I would like is, that you have to hold down a button to use timebank, and 10sec after you release the button the timebank is deactived. That way you get around situations where someone accidentaly uses their entire timebank. Then they could extend their timebank to like 3min.

This. I don't know why Stars has taken this stance, but at this point it's pretty clear that they're either against changing the timebank system (for whatever reason), or they're simply incompetant. I'd say it's probably the former, not sure why though.

Yeah there really isn't a logical explanation I can think of as to why they would do this. It's not like 4-5 years ago when everyone would abuse the timebank in bubble spots.

stars has already made it clear they cannot change their timebank system, these threads are so old, they have no option, it can't be done without doing a lot of code rewrites that could destabilize the software.
