Well my stack is awkward as it seems to be missing about 15k

Not many reads here, a lot of big stack poker going on though. Obviously 13bb's, I thought about leading the flop but didn't really want to into 3 big stacks.. although I suspect some table bullying going on and bigger A's to be raising pre.

I realise I dont have any FE if I shove but with my stack its either shove or fold...thoughts?

i think this is a muck...

then again...3r? you might have him dominated.

anyways, i probably muck here and start shipping liberally.

i might have shipped here pre as well.

I def. push this preflop. Most better aces would raise pre, when you get called is often by KJ or something, and I'd def take a 60/40 with your stack and some dead money from limpers.

If this is good enough to ship pre why are we mucking when we hit our ace? Do we really think many better A's are folding to our shove? I think our losses to A8/A9 are compensed here by the PP's that would limp pre that we are behind/flipping with...

But of course I suck at poker and I'm sure I'm wrong, just wondering why.

1) you have no fold equity (a8,a9,at may fold to a shove pre but will not after betting the flop);
2) 4 players have now seen a flop, and it is more likely that one of them hit something that beats you but might not have called a shove (22, t2 from the sb, etc).

when i shove im hopein i fold those hands out. its not good enough to shove pre, we are banking on having some FE. i do think some aces fold out as well. A8o is going to fold out, A9o as well, i would think. AT+ itll be hard just cause its the 3r and if theyve got chips to burn, they will call.

which is also what makes this a fold, because we arent in real good shape, and we dont have any FE.

I think UTG has nothing lots of the time and call. A7 is about the best hand we could possibly have at this point besides A2 and T2, and folding just seems super icky. I would also call a 2nd barrell, but this could be super, super stationy.

I also shove this pre almost all the time.
