early in Stars $33 tourney

Not sure why but this felt dangerous from the minute the guy limped UTG...any reason to build a big pot here in a limped pot?

The only thing I can say is to raise a little pre-flop to define your hand a bit. With a board like that I think you played it fine after the flop. I wouldn't begin to build a big pot on a board like that unless you had very specific reads and information to do so. You played it fine by me. You are only beating Ace-rag and otherwise your range is crushed. A lot of 2-pairs beat you, someone could have turned the striaght. It's hard to know where you are if you don't bet, that's why I always like to define my hand a little especially when I'm on the button and have position (I am talking preflop).
