well if he's any good and he doesn't know you then i think his range here for flatting should be like KK+. i'm fine with checking back the flop but i hate the turn shove, i think it makes our hand look like exactly what it is (what hands would we realistically play this way other than exactly QQ?), and i really doubt he's going to fold many hands. having said that i think turn is close between call and fold. the problem with calling is that i don't think all our outs are clean as he could definitely have AQ or KQ. other considerations are whether he will actually call a bet if we make our hand on the river (although with such good odds on a turn call he may not need to often) and whether we can fold one pair on the river if he shoves. also whether we want to shove one pair if he checks to us on the river (or bluff, although i don't think that's a great idea). i lean towards calling and trying to work out all these eventualities if we actually get there.

wow doubt you have FE here with him having 20k of a 44k stack in the pot

that smells like 99 all the way, i see me calling for a spade here

You need to be 3betting slightly larger. 11-11.3k would be better. Pretty sure he always has like 99 here when he leads out so small (daniel negreanu guesswork of 1 hand ranges ITT). Just call turn you technically have implied odds to draw to a flush (calling 9k to win 32k + whatever you make on the river value betting, you hit it what like 1/5 times so just need to make a decent value bet, + some% of the time hitting an ace or king will be good) but obviously it sucks since losing this hand and calling that bet is a large portion of our stack.

i think the 3bet size is standard/fine. any larger and the guy will believe we are never folding, so we may as well just shove, which would be losing value. he's still making a pretty big mistake calling this raise size with any hand (other than KK+, and even then it's iffy).
