not sure if it is ok to post an 18 man hand here...if not please feel free to move it

I don't play many of these so I apologize if this is too basic...so far table has been playing pretty nitty...I have opened a few pots but have not been out of line...

Is this an easy fold to the shove at this stage?

Its ok to post iirc. If hes tight should be a pretty easy fold. You're either flipping or behind against standard guys. If he had shown up looseness I'd call.

I dunno I don't like the raise/fold but maybe that's just me. Push fold pre to avoid this?

Even against 55+,A7s+,KTs+,A8o+,KTo+ youre just 51/49. With your stacksize I guess its more ok to take the flip here but I dont really want to get down to 1.5k and you dont really need to take this here. With your current stacksize u can keep pwning them later when the blinds go up.

i think u have to call just based on the pot odds and hope he shoves up with 88

if you raise anything you have plan to commit to his stack. You should be planning ahead so you can avoid these situations. If you are going to raise fold, then you can be raising folding hands such as 9ts etc. My std here would be to commit to the shorter stack and fold to the blinds.

^^^
Everything here, and one more thing, make it $375 preflop. It's only $25 but those little chips add up and $375 does exactly the same thing as $400.

well my issue again is I was under the impression SNG/18 man players are much tighter (I come from MTT land)...is that so and if so what kind of range do we put him on for shoving here pre ante?

I think raise/fold is fine tbh, I think the odds you are getting are way too good to fold unless he is a very big nit. Also your hand is too strong to fold PF and open shoving is probably profitable but not the best way to play this hand.
