i prob iso a bit smaller pre (if i do it).

i dont think i would bet the flop often, and would fold to that action unless i really felt like gamboooolling. potential to have zero outs seems reasonably high.

would likely get it in if we had As9s though.

Yesterday I had a guy raise and check flop. I bet - he called, the flush came on the turn and he CRAI. He saw a cheaper turn turn card.

Yeah I think this is spot on esp pre. I like the idea of lighter iso's but with these stacks were going to have to bet call a ton of flops with marginalish equity and idk how profitable that's going to be pre ante

yeah i hate pre also, this shallow you want to be iso'ing stuff like KJo ahead of these kinds of hands which play better deeper.

wat? i like bet/call on flop, that flop doesnt hit limpers' range hard and idk what the other guy ever flats with but it could be alot of middle pairs that just c/f

agree completely. opening a suited connector or gapper on 30bb or less is marginal imo and isoing with it is even moreso.

Im assuming this guy was a weak player and this is why u isod. Otherwise even I think its a fold pre.

I think u could have made it less pre (oh the irony). I would prob just jam the flop as played.

I really don't think it's nitty to question the profitability of the open like even his limping range has you in trouble, the hand makes a lot of 2nd/3rd pair type hands that your going to struggle to get away from given the spr is <3 with a single caller and you still have the blinds to act.
