Pre Flop: (t150) Hero is BTN with 8

4 folds, Hero raises to t300, SB calls t250, BB raises to t1335 all in, Hero...?

No reads on players, but flat from the SB looks weak and the BB could be making a move with almost any two cards. Is this a standard shove for me?

"flat from the SB looks weak" - flatting monsters in the SB almost always pays off, not saying he has one, and **** me if every other micro limit ****** doesn't flat two paint in the SB, but there are also good players who know that and exploit it too. If you're comfortable with busting and grinding these 180's to build your roll then obviously you call here. 16 bb's, you put money in the pot and you have a pair of 8's, this is good enough.

Seems like a petty easy call given stacks, your hand, action, and BvB. All the better if SB has a history of flatting wide from the blinds, but not a necessary read.

No math required (i.e. easy to see you have a call against any range), imo. Call.

You should already know whether or not you'll call a raise before you open.

Here raise/folding is pretty bad considering stacks and open folding 88 on the BTN seems way to tight so I think the question is open shove or 3x/ call and considering stack sizes I like 3x/ call.

You 3x'ed, now call. (well obv reshove)

Yeah nevermind... we are getting 2:1... even if you put him on 10 10+ AQ+ we are still 37%.... put your chips in.

With 13 BB I am probably just shoving... especially if it is close to the next level.

Although given stack sizes, this is probably the perfect time for the SB to try and spring something on us.... I don't think most players at the 4.40 level are competent enough to realize this though.

Shove and its not close. With 13 BBs you should not be opening a hand that you're not willing to go all in with.
