POY points for the five PM tourneys might be a nice idea but I don't think they would qualify for sure. I final tabled the Golden Nugget 1K Main Event this summer and received no POY points for my ninth place finish out of 72 runners. What are the field size requirements to receive POY points? Besides the 500-1000 level, a 1200-2400 level and 2500-5000 level are imperative as well. Too many TD's seem to think that it's impotnat to have lots of extra levels in the early stages when one's overall tourney equity is less affected than late when every stolen blind has a major effect. Possible this is due to wanting to give weak players more time to play, so they'll feel as they're getting their $$$ worth.

Thus why the fields were pretty decent. A 5k in the middle of the week got 250 people, that's pretty sick good.

Oh cmon Allen that's a dumb question, you know that turnouts are way down everywhere and that has nothing to do with the Bellagio

Just making sure, and slightly OT:

None of you guys are actually friends with this idiot right? The use of first names/nicknames can be confused by an unknowledgable 3rd party from anything between friendly bantering, and mocking an insufferably idiotic douchebag.

He friend requested me on facebook, too.

I'm just trying to understand his existence.

Agreed. Was quite humorous that in one of last week's events I started at the same table as Mark Seif. Later on Sorel Mizzi and Jon Little got moved there. Then at the redraw Crazy Marco sits down to my right. Ban JJ when he turns 21 too.

allow people to smoke pot at the table.
2p2 members get extra 5 k starting chips.
2 strippers per table.

What's the story with Crazy Marco that puts him on this list?

If you notice the top several pay spots graduate much more evenly on the 15K payout than on the 5Ks from last week
