22 left IIRC. Villain has an FTOPS jersey. He hasn't been wild, but I'm sure he's opening decently wide enough.

Stack sizes are the big issue here since we're playing 35BB effective. Just wondering what you guys would do.

Call. Raise/call seems a bit thin vs. MP1 especially with slight ICM effects this deep in the tourney. Call a jam from the blinds if MP1 folds, fold if he calls.

I thought so too, but I feel like this leaves us guessing in a lot of spots postflop, no?

well sometmes it's guessing but 99 is like the set magnet hand. and you have position. You still have chips to peel a decent flop. and R/C and folding both suck.

I mean you could 3b cuz hes made it so small but then your giving up your position too. Hands obv tooo strong to fold

i feel like an ftops jersey deep in a 26$ (depending on who it is) is gonna be opening a decent amount where 3 bet calling 99 is good? i think this hand is based on gameflow and your read of how active/tight hes been thus far

if villain is aggro or u perceive him as aggro then i like 3bet small/call slightly > calling. if villain thinks he has FE, some of the nut non-premium hands for him to shove are PPs < 99. i also dont think 99 plays well enuf* w these stacks, mostly bc the value of pos in negated by the small PSR we'll have post.

*im sure it (calling) will show a profit vs most but im not sure if the small cEV expectation offsets losing 2-10bbs, which will happen quite a bit.

MP1 left himself room to fold to blinds jams, but I don't feel good about 3 betting here just because I don't think he opens too light into these stacks. Flat and use position.

+1. I would never do anything but call. If you're not confident on your postflop skills and don't want to do floating and stuff I guess 3bet/call is better than folding vs FTOPS jersey dude though.
