Need to says I speak without exactly knowing what JJprodigy did. ('cause I don't care, tought it was only multiaccounting, and don't think it can be such a big deal.)

But if it is, a big deal, what has he done to be crucified in public place like that ?

Online poker is a like a videogame, imo. If I cheat in a Car racing videogame, why would I be banned from a real car race, doesn't make senses.

Because in a video game when the car crashes people don't really die. But in online poker when you steal money REAL MONEY ACTUALLY GETS STOLEN.

I know people wanna be like "lolz internets" but the money is still real. ****. Especially given in a bunch of these tournaments they pay you directly into your online account when you cash.

how can stars/tilt ban these people who have never broken any of theres sites TOS ?

once the person who cheats live also cheats online then the site can take recourse but until then they should be given the benefit of the doubt.

idk i guess im just under the impression that JJs cheating on pokerstars doesnt hold much relevance to him 1 tabling a live donkament

that is not for us to decide
the tourney directors make their own decisions and i think that they are worried about making money
plus i doubt that anyone is going to miss a big tourney because jj is there

You sucks.

'xplain me what he exactly did instead. Because there's no way you can cheat enough on an online poker site to be banned form live poker event. (Except from these super users who can see holes cards..)

I have learned to hate JJ and think he is a cheater who doesn't deserve the right to ever play again online.

However, I think he should be allowed to play live as much as people may not want him to.

Why are you replying here when you dont even know what he did? He entered multiple accounts in the same tournament, sometimes small field tournaments like the 100r. He also opened countless accounts making it impossible to identify who was playing on them for other pro's. Also, he has lied numerous times about everything and been caught / said he is reformed 3+ times.

P.S. I wrote this on my blog a few weeks ago and I feel as though a petition should be passed around and submitted to the big tournament organizations. We cant go back and start banning some old timers who have cheated in the past but that doesn't mean that people who cheat now and in the future cant be banned. [IMPORTANT BI-PRODUCT OF THIS] Also, the mere fact that you could be banned from the major poker tours, where creating new accounts isnt an option, would be the ULTIMATE deterrent in stopping young kids who play online professionally from MA'ing amongst other nefarious actions. [/IMPORTANT BI-PRODUCT OF THIS]

They have the right to refuse anyone's business on w/e grounds they feel like. If they decided to ban Men the Master would you really feel up in arms about it?

Because if a notorious 20 year old cheat wins their tournament it sucks really hard for the casino/TD to have to hand over a trophy and congratulate someone who the whole of the poker world will be disgusted with having won the tournament.

Because when a huge tournament is run they are hoping whoever wins it can bring positive publicity to the event, and if a cheat wins all anyone will talk about is the cheat and whether he was cheating in that event, even if those assumptions are totally baseless.

Because most of the TD's I've talked to are smart guys who actually care about the integrity of the game.

Because if all these young 20 somethings banned together and said they'd boycoytt the circuit if action wasn't taken it means less rake, less hotel revenue during tournaments, and smaller prize pools

And what Bond said

You would have to ban ALL of the other known live/on-line cheats for it to be fair IMO. You probably would lose a significant amount of players if you did this.
