The series was GREAT... its a little slow at times, but there were several concepts Angelo layed out that hit home for me hardcore... I experimented last summer with buddhist meditation/philosophy quite a bit, so I integrated a lot of my own personal ideas with the help of this series. It has helped my game dramatically even though it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with poker directly. I'd say that the 30 dollar fee for a subscription to DC is worth it for this series alone. Also the blackboard videos from Vandweller helped me a lot... I mean **** dude, its only 30 bucks; that's nothing when u look at how much it helps ur long term game.

p.s. no one can ever be tilt free. If u define tilt as "playing anything other than ur A-game", then being tired, under caffeinated, thinking about other things, etc makes u "tilt". However, this series can dramatically limit how often u tilt, eliminate the emotional tilt that comes from bad beats, and help u learn when not to play (i.e. when ur tired, etc)

but wont I also be hurting my potential profit since I don't have to pay for school for another 2 months? Ideally, I would make another $2,600 between poker and my job over the next 2-3 months. If I don't, I'm going to have to take out more loans. Its definately doable, but I don't want to rely on poker income, and I don't want to work my ****ty ass $8.50 starbucks job when I can potentially be making so much more playing poker...

My plan as of now is to drop down a level if I hit a 30 BI downswing, and then grind it back at the lower level... It might limit some potential profit, but it will also cut short any large downswings that might be coming my way.

Lets just hope this thread was a waste of time and my heater will continue over the next couple months can't hurt to think positive, eh?
