Hi !

Small hand at 10 left (3000+ entries) of a 10$ KO SCOOP (FT at 7).

The average stack is around 20bb. I have the smallest bounty of the remaining players (the average must be around 150$ and I have 50 $).

I am the smallest stack of the two tables (but we are 6 players between 10-15bb).

The next payout is at 8 players (14 buyins I think) and after that goes up very quickly, 1 600$ for the top 2 + the bounties.

BTN: 14.07 BB
SB: 12.24 BB
BB: 49.74 BB
UTG: 13.64 BB
Hero (MP): 11.52 BB
CO: 19.63 BB

6 players post ante of 0.13 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.25 BB) Hero has: :3c :3d
UTG folds, Hero ???

It's a fairly simple push or fold spot ... but I would like to have your opinions on it!

I realize that I never know what to do with these little PPs at the end of tournaments, especially when everyone is shallow and I would like to correct that !

If your have some tips to determine what to do with when shallow and in late game don't hesitate!

Thanks

Ok so I'm not that good at bounties but it looks like a clear shove to me - seems like spot where we need to gamble and hope to double up and put peoples bounties back in play.

any info on bb?
they seem to have massive chip lead and already some % of their stack invested
if you think they are calling wide enough (which they should) it's easy fold for me
no matter how small your bounty is they are getting good price if they think they have 30% equity or more with their holdings (i might be little off with numbers tho)

but of course, shoving could be just fine too

i just tend to go little tight with spots like these and that stack size
i'd rather jam 80% of my hands from cutoff or btn rather then 22-44 from early

but it's just me. theres absolutely nothing wrong with open shoving in this spot. gl

I have 50 hands on BB and he was pretty tight, even with his big stack!

Yeah that seems like a mandatory shove, we just can't pass this spot up with our stacksize imo

shove for sure -it's even clearer for me as we have more fold equity without bounties

Ok guys ! Thanks !

I shoved but friends of mine told me that I could have waited 10-12 hands or so for a better spot (and also because many players were shallows).

I'm shoving this. When you're the short stack the ICM pressure is reduced, and your small bounty means people are less likely to call light to target your bounty.

Was thinking this too. We're getting called wider and flipping more but think we just have to buck up on it.
