Start playing more PLO8 imo.

Anyway, bet hand 1. Hand 2 you can play a bit slower, especially with an A likely to hit someone.

I love PLO8 but I'm don't see my call preflop as bad with my M.

I disagree with this.

I think the A likely to hit someone is more reason for us to bet it because our earning potential on the flop is extremely limited as he rarely turns anything into a bluff or bluffcatcher (unless it's AX which he will think is the nuts anyways) and thus we usually only get 1 street of value from his weaker than AX hands anyways while we can still influence the potsize and gain max value against his AX and better by betting ourselves.

Comparing that to check/calling which puts us in weird spots because of the pot/stack ratio (especcially as randoms usually have bad betsizes), while check/raising signals way more strength than we'd like to, betting seems the superior play to me.

Regarding the other board, I'm still torn between checking and betting it.

I would bet something that made my opponents call alot or spaz out. But I would definitely be betting the whole way regardless

i would bet the whole way as well , just bc alot of players will chase the str8.
if someone has a ace or a 6, you can proably get paid off till river.
also you dont want 7 to come, as it might kill action.

even the 2nd hand i would bet the whole way in case someone wants to chase with a 4 or 2
