This is a sunday million sattelite where top 6 (5 technically but 6th is like $200) get a seat. 9 people left and average stack size at the moment is 155k. The play in this tournament is generally terrible and people for the most part are clueless.
I'm sitting here generally very comfortable with 2nd in chips and can probably fold to cash. Is this hand just a plain fold and let the bad sattelite players duke it out type hand?
If I call and win here, I knock out 1 more player and I'm can pretty much 99% of the time sit out and cash. If I call and lose here, I go down to 160k. Is 280k a healthy enough stack that I shouldn't get involved? If you say I cash 90% of the time with a 280k stack by not doing anything, should I fold AA here even?
I ended up winning this hand but I thought it was interesting enough to discuss whether I cash more often by folding here or calling here and up to what range do I fold.
