I think you should just find reputable, well-known dudes somewhat, with decent stats...get pws, address, emails, etc. If you find them in games you dont' want, talk to them about it/drop them in a heartbeat. It is pretty much like an investment and hopefully you cut them off before it gets too deep.

as someone who gets backed and backs people, its absurd to turn makeup into debt at anypoint and i dont think its even fair of NSB or whoever to offer that to desperate busto people who arent going to pay you back anyways lol.

hey OP here is your problem that you seem too dense to understand: as a backer you have to actually MANAGE YOUR HORSES.

your horse can't just magically run up makeup. YOU have to send funds, approve schedules, etc.

don't be an idiot. there is a reason this has never been discussed.

also i loved shaniac's response re: the enter key

tbh i think it crosses the line when you circumvent MA rules by hiring a bunch of broke kids to grind sngs and tournaments for you so you can ghost all the tournaments when deep, they're basically just bots

Yup.
I can't see anyone signing such a deal.
Your stakees might as well go to a bank, get a real loan and take 100% of their winnings.

No....that would be "losses". "makeup" is the amount of losses a horse has suffered since the last time profits were split...definitely an important distinction.

You are not helping, and if you think typing "wow, just wow" should end this discussion, you don't understand why it's being had in the first place.

Why would I not just take out a second mortgage and keep 100% of profits?
