Is it ok to just call the river here?

    I think I actually like clicking it back here, though I understand the thought process for a call. We do have to raise/fold though which chunks our stack, but I think, especially at these stakes, we'll have players call with worse aces up, strong AXs, and even the occasional hand like 98s.

    Calling river bet seems a bit nitty to me. Its a fairly dry board and nothing got there otr. I think villain has a worse two pair hand here more often than a set.

    I'm folding A8s here 50bb in a 9 max preflop, especially in a low stakes tournament where I have massive perceived edge in shallow-stack situations. Reverse implied odds city.

    You should fold preflop. No reason to open that hand utg in a 9max especially in a low stake games.
