^agree

Being able to see what first prize is at the moment is a huge attraction to fish and good players. I might not play a certain tournament that I would've been excited for had I seen first place money. Thats just how it works.

If the support for such a game is there, we'll go after it, but we've seen repeatedly in the past - especially on the weekdays when there are so many NLHE opportunities available - that there just isn't that kind of support for PL Omaha tournaments. Having said that, I'm 99.99% sure that the guarantee on the weekly $215 is about to go up (not this week, but likely in time for next week).
Ok, I understand its more complicated, but look how much progress you did building up a PLO8/NLO8 player base, there are uncomparably less cash tables running than in PLO, yet it has more HSMTTs and with bigger guarantees. Just pointing out that there is a big room for growth and that the game is so popular that it can support a midstakes daily tournament that gets 1k+ runners

more normal MTTs added to the daily schedule for euro convenient times, 6pm-9pm western european time. $30-$100 dol range, maybe another $10r but at an earlier time because the current one finishes too late for euros who work

The $204 hyper turbo this week (Tournament #3070008) only had a 3 minute break during synchronized break...Pretty big goof-up, seeing how if people didn't come back until 5 minutes they'd be sitting out for 2 minutes. Missing 2 minutes deep in a hyper turbo is pretty crucial.

Might wanna fix that for next week.

I'm not sure if your computer was lagging, perhaps, but the statement above is simply not correct. I've checked the file that runs the tournament, and also I was watching the tournament as it played. Lastly, I checked the busting history, and can confirm that there's about a 6-minute block from 9:56pm to 10:02pm (ET) when no one busted. No one could, as the tourney was on break.

I really hate the change to the naming format. Sure capitalize Turbo, but keep it bold. Maybe I am just going blind, but it was much easier to read in the old format.

We have a name filter which should help with that, just put 'Turbo' in it, and there you go. The new format is being put in because it is much easier to read. Splashes of bold 'turbo' and 'hyper-turbo' all over the place were part of the problem of the old display.

kinda cool that a bunch of the Guarantees got raised today. I didn't look through everything I normally play, but the 3 I noticed were:

Daily 30K -> Daily 40K ($10 BI)
Daily 80K -> Daily 90K ($55 BI)
Sunday 2nd Chance $200K -> Sunday 2nd Chance $250K ($215 BI)

It looks like a lot of the other ones got chance too (duno if they all went down or up) but thanks for listening to everyones suggestions Bryan.

Even though the guarantees on these will probably all get smashed like they usually do, the mere fact that stars upped it a little bit while changing the format of tournament names in the lobby will help stars keep interest up for these tournaments and continue to attract new people to play these tournaments.

Edit: I know theres a thread where a tonne of the upped guarantees were posted so theres no need for everyone to post a million of them in here, but I was just trying to give Bryan some love for a job well done.

There are a few which went down, which just didn't sustain interest despite our best efforts. I think about 3 went down and 150 went up. There're also some new ones coming which I haven't added to the schedule yet, tournaments which exist right now without guarantees which will soon have them, such as the $102 hyper-turbo heads-up, etc.

As for the naming upgrade, everyone I showed mock-ups to said it was a major improvement that will make it a lot easier for people to find what they're seeking. We're in mid-transition, but when it's all said and done, I think that most will agree that the lobby has been improved significantly. We're pretty much there with the regular schedule (notice that all tourneys have names now, btw), and the satellites are changing over as quickly as possible (while still taking time to add to the SCOOP schedule, deploy next month's Turbo Takedown, etc... that's why things have to happen gradually... there's lots to do! )

I've forwarded it on those who will do so, yes. The file which runs that tournament hasn't changed, and it dictates a 5-minute break. The busting history also shows a 6-minute gap of no one busting, which I took as further evidence that there was no dealing going on, but that seems not to be the case. Ah well, I have been wrong before, certainly not the first or last time. In any case, it's being looked into and when I have more to report, I will do so. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

One thing not specific to MTTs that is driving me nuts is the way "chat focus" gets killed whenever a new action is required or a new table pops up. Makes it very hard to write notes while multi-tabling. I know it's not a Bryan issue, but I wanted to get it out there!

What do you mean, specifically? I'll see if I can suss out an answer, as I'm pretty sure our filters can do most things anyone would need. (minus them not having a Boolean option in the text filter)

The bold dark blue color for all these satellites is distracting. It brings my attention to all the satellites...when there's regular tourneys that are in plain black type.

Satellites should be in a different color...but it should be a lighter color because there's going to be a lot more satellite tourneys than the actual tourney. The dark blue dominates the lobby now. The bold plus the dark blue dominates the screen.
