The author said he flatted to keep bluffs in and value hands would gii anyway. I thought this was bad because SB is getting 2.2-1 to call a push. Random hands are 18% against KK, and the bluff hand range is better than that. Villain will continue on flops where he has greater equity. Also, due to the ICM effect, the extra chips gained are worth less than those you risk, as you bust out if you gii and lose. Also, it is possible a big ace or pp that would gii preflop might fold on a bad flop. So IMO the flat call is awful. I was wondering if others agreed.

If you can't beat the games any more, what you do get the highest ROI in some low stakes games. That will really impress the fish that you crushed the game they play at maybe a somewhat higher stakes. It is really easy to get coaching business from nube suckers that way.
