Opponent is weak-tight-ish: 19/2 over 157 hands total. Strange situation, folding TT seems wrong, calling seems way wrong, but if I shove I give him 3-1 odds and a trivial call. Can there be no right way to play this one?

I don't see anything wrong against folding TT when he is only raising 2% of his hands (further more UTG)

given your read i fold this, no point in having hud if you aint gona use it. as nick stated he's only raised 2% in 157 hands. wait for a better spot than this.

Barring any previous information about his betting styles, he seems short stacked enough where you played it fine.

6 handed in a $2 game I'm pretty sure you are ahead against his range

edit: I'm dumb and didn't read the post

^^ your shoving over a villain that only raises 1 hand in ever 50? maybe i'm to much of a nit but with this read i muck it.

If he's raised 3/157 hands, and he is raising UTG, why would you think TT is ahead?

Seems an odd raise value from him, but I don't think shoving over is as bad as everyone is suggesting. Your not exactly healthy stacked yourself and a double up would give you a good fighting chance in this game here. With him being so short and needing to make something happen, AK, AQ, 99, 88 are all in his range imo, just as much as JJ-AA are. It's marginal, but it's not horrible, JJ+ is an insta shove for me here.

He's NIT, making a 3,5bb raise with less than 10bb stack. I see some big trap here.

Well he's obviously just hit "pot" "raise".

Vs a 19/2 UTG its probably a fold, did you see the hand he lost his chips in?

Yeah, sorry I didn't say that right, I meant to say it seems odd for him to raise here for a portion of his stack when he only has 9BBs left.

Ordinarily it would be a bit odd but there's a key bit of information that distinguishes this situation from others.

PS: The reason I'm playing in a $2 tourney is because I'm using the low buy-in matrix tourneys as my first attempt at multi-tabling. My normal level is higher.

I think that using the HUD stats and folding was the best advice here, though I'm glad that some people agree that my overshove, while not optimal, was not horrible either.
