Firs Question: How you play this hand and why?

Second Question: As played, what about his range to do this? And why call or fold can be +EV in this case?

Thanks guys

Preflop is perfect, effective stacks are deep so no sense 4-betting. With no info on BB we don't really know whether his 3b represents strength or a re-steal attempt. Either way, best to flat and use your position postflop.

On the flop you're now facing a call for 1875 more into a pot of 5025 (if I'm calculating correctly), which is giving you more than 2.5:1. So you only have to be about 40% good here. I think his range is going to include: slowplayed AA/KK, 9x, 88, flush draws, and maybe open-enders. On that range your call is very borderline - hardly an ez call like Simple says. The only way it becomes a clear call is if you can include some aggressively played middle pairs, like JJ/TT/77.

Given that this was a 3-way pot and SB shoved with BB and you still to act, I would have a hard time being that generous with his range. I think the middle pairs are highly unlikely, and even the open-enders are questionable too.

I think calling here is very borderline at best. FYI if you take the lower part of that range out of the equation, you're way, way behind.

i wouldnt put slowplayed AA KK in that range, it could be there maybe 20% of time at best

I don't think it's AA or KK, or even AhKh. I can see maybe not 4-betting with AA or KK but I can't imagine someone just calling a raise with those hands. I think the most likely scenarios here are that it's someone with Ahxh, JJ or TT. I dont think SB is shoving with a boat on the flop so I'm inclined to take 88 off the table.

So the only hand I'm seriously worried about here is something like J9, T9 (or maybe Ah9h) where the SB called the raise and then stuck around for the 3-bet. The more likely scenario is that the shove indicates a draw or a hand they want to protect against overcards, and I feel reasonably confident that I can put them on JJ, TT or a heart draw. In that case, I think it's worth the call, but I agree with Darth_Maul that isn't an easy one.
