A good amount of turn cards can improve his hand or kill the action.

I don't think there are that many cards that improve his hand because he can realistically only have the one draw on this flop (maaaaaaaaaaybe the gutter too) and he shouldn't have that much Ax/Kx and some improves to a worse hand that he may not want to fold.

I dont see many hands villain is going to barrel the turn that he wont get in on the flop. What is the benefit of waiting for the turn?

Only reason to call is if villain will be bluffing with complete air. Far more semi bluffs and weaker hands in his range with some equity. Click it back or just shove.

Clicking it back loks ridic strong even for fish I suppose. Also potentially allows him fold if he flats with a draw and misses.

What hand can villain have that 3bets/fold flop, but bet/calls turn?

Especially since there are ~47% of turns where we dont want to get it in anymore (and he prolly neither, unless he has us beat then).

A draw that makes top pair and we get a bet from his b/f... assuming ofc we think he barrels turn. Think it depends on villain and maybe heros play.
