My HUD went capuit for this FT for some reason. Villain has made raises, and when I 3 bet with AK he mucked, or another time he mucked after I raised his cbet w/ over pair.

You have 12BB with QQ. Get it in pre here. There is no room to flat and play a pot. So you ran into KK, just a cooler. Dont be results oriented.

yeah, I guess it is result oriented thinking, but I am just curious if ICM makes it a fold considering 3 players have M's of less than 2.5.

I dunno I don't think this is an icm fold you have some fold equity and QQ and at 5 handed tble with only 12BB this is a must ship imo.

wow pre is really bad dude

he has to fold a ton to your shove and yea thats what you want?

you dont want to play vs broadways or Ax with 12BB, you are happy with shoving and if he calls you are ahead which is great as well

yeah probably, but my thought process was this, he wasn't all that active for a big stack, so he wasn't being table bully. He raising AQ+ and pairs. I call to ship any non A,K flop as you see. I know he calls w/ AK and if that comes on flop I can muck. I guess I was wondering more about ICM. I don't play all that many SNG's and for some reason last night I played in like 8 of them and cashed in all but this one, even winning one of those 40 special ones.

Imo I use ICM when there are 2 or more real shorties or 1 and the right conditions. Like if one of the other big stack raises and then he gets 3b by the other big stack. Then I prolly fold QQ.

In this situation the CO is raising a huge range that QQ crushes. Ship it and fist pump and puke when he turns over Kk. ul.

I play a lot of SNG's and in even the 45's the rake kills. You have to win or get 2nd a more than average amount of time to make any kind of real money. Just cashing doesn't cut it. You have to play your premium pairs very strong due to the size of the blinds. Even as low as 99 with an M of 7 or 8 i'm jamming. The short stacks have to call lite or they will get blinded out. You will get called so often by 22-88 and A2-A9 which you crush and broadway which is a flip. Not to mention the FE and just winning the blinds is huge at this stage of the game. Think win not just cash.

Right I do think win and not just cash, as I mainly play big field MTT's, but this instance after the hand, (and of course because of results) I looked back at the 3 shorty's and figured maybe that should have played a part. Guess not, thanks guys.
