QQ in the BB facing a 3x Button Raise....Your thoughts???

I was very hesitant to make this call, simply because I hate playing high PP OOP. However, I felt it was a safe flop in addition to my assumption of his bet being a standard c-bet. Personally I would have been much more worried if he checked the flop (looking to trap).......Your thoughts on the hand?

I open raise here. I would only call a small percentage of the time with this hand UTG and then with loose aggressive players to act. Certainly if I get raised from the BTN which has a large raising range, I'm re raising with QQ a high percentage of the time.

You might mix this up with a pre flop call and shove the flop once in a while.

You limp called and check raised on a board that missed his hand most of the time. You've exposed the strength of your hand and to a thinking player in position you wouldn't get much more of their money in the pot.

I would keep it simple with this kind of hand.

Postflop is 100% standard but preflop isn't, whether the converter is messed up or not. It's just bad. 3-bet for value. Simple game.

wtf is this???? stacks are not deep at all....OOP should not be an issue because your goal is to get as much money into the pot pre as humanly possible...

positional stuff is a nice luxury when stacks are deep and hands are marginal but here we just have to do whatever we can to get stacks in pre and failing that on this flop

did anyone in here tell you that you butchered this hand on every street yet?
because you did.

not raising pre is an enormous mistake in a 4.40 because you get called by such a nice wide variety of hands

your crai on the flop is really kind of pointless, youre getting called by better all the time and the only thing youre beating is TT and JJ that youre going to get value from and the occasional hero calls with 22-88.. but youre folding out the non pair hands that double barrel here some percentage of the time

im just baffled by this whole hand

people should come in here and look at how to not play QQ
