Hi all

I'm actually analysing some hands from a tournament that I played some weeks ago. Hero is in Mid Game with a Stack of 20 BB and is sitting with 88 in BB.

I'm really having trouble to find out, if the hand was EV+ or not. In my opinion and calculations it was EV+ but I'd like to know on which calling range I could set my opponents to make the shove EV+. I would appreciate it if there are some thoughts from your side.

I think it is plus ev whatever their calling range is. If they only call with 99+ then you are picking up dead money so often that it is plus ev. If their range includes overcards that you are better than flipping with and/ or 77- then it is even better.
