I have a question about PSKOs strategy. Say you are playing a 4.40$ NLH Progressive Super Knockout tour, where 2$ go to the prize pool,2$ go for the bounty and 0.40$ is the rake. The starting stack is 3000 chips,so the bounty equals to 1500 chips.A player with the initial 2$ bounty goes all in. Should I add 1500 chips for the bounty,or add 750 chips because half of the bounty goes to my bounty?

Keep in mind that your tournamentlife is also worth something. Therefore I dont think the math is that easy. Calling someone off with a marginal hand for his bounty can cripple you and therefore make it less likely to run deep.

I play a lot of these tournaments and I play them almost as if I was playing a normal tourney.

In short, my tournament life is far more important than someone's bounty (unless the bounty was crazy high and worth more than finishing well itm) and I wouldn't be using this as reason to be making marginal calls if it would cripple me.

For sure, tournament life is the more important in most cases. But I m asking particularly about the maths here. Which of the two amounts is correct?
